The last time we heard from the usually energetic and cheerful Los Campesinos(!), we were treated to a slow, somber, almost-spoken narrative about a friend struggling with an eating disorder. As the release of their forthcoming LP, Romance Is Boring nears, Los Campesinos calm our weary hearts and ears with “There Are Listed Buildings” with its unabashedly joyous introduction and its big bag of hooks.

wow, I didn’t even know they were releasing an album in January! Woot!
their new album is so good. Darker than their previous work, which is a plus in my book. “Listen Buildings” is easily one of my favorite tracks on the album.
I have to admit I was a bit worried after I heard the last song, but this one is really awesome. Can’t wait to download their album.
