I just saw her last night in Toronto, and you basically described her show to a tee. It was great, except for the fact the show was supposed to start 8 and Lykke Li was on stage just after 10. And her set was definitely way tooooo, but for $22.50 it was f*****g bargain. I liked the opening band, I believe they had one english song, but the drummer was ridiculous he so captivating

Lykke Li was on Grey’s Anatomy… Already, about a year ago. She’s so fantastic.

So jealous of you guys that were there, she’s never going to come to New Zealand…

I was also there! It was soo soo great. I really do love her a lot. I was happy they decided to move it upstairs to the sanctuary!

How close were you? You might’ve seen me. I felt like people were angry that I kept trying to take pictures, but f**k ‘em. Hopefully you weren’t behind me.

I waited outside in the freezing cold in nothing but a t-shirt and walked around the church to see if she was coming out, but no luck. We went back inside and saw her sitting in some back room but this guy said she wasn’t taking autographs or anything. Some nerdy douchebag, bet-you-he’s-not-really-a-fan type got the setlist. I was pissed.

i was there! i thought the first act was fantastic, but lykke obviously blew them out of the water. coming out to melodies and desires was perfect. my favorite performance was “breaking it up” and i left with a newfound respect for “hanging high” which i can’t stop listening to. i can’t wait until she comes back around that was definitely the best show i’ve been to in a LONG time.
