Philadelphia’s own weird avant-garde group Man Man are putting out their fourth LP, Live Fantastic, and are doing it proper, for their first time enlisting a producer on set: none other than Bright Eyes and Monsters of Folk member Mike Mogis. We have the title track for your listening pleasure: an upbeat, piano heavy rock anthem, flowing with violin strings and uniquely robust vocals from lead singer Ryan Kattner aka Honus Honus.

The frontman proclaimed that Live Fantastic will be a lot darker and more disturbed than Man Man’s usual music, despite the uplifting title, and “Live Fantastic” displays this notion, particularly at the end with a bad ass psychedelic instrumental solo that kind of comes out of nowhere. Live Fantastic drops May 10 via Anti Records.
