I featured a couple of Marina and the Diamonds tracks on my latest podcast, popping her PMA cherry. I am a relatively new fan of hers, having ignored her for many months, I am ashamed to say. If you are familiar with Marina and the Diamonds, you are probably obsessed with “I Am Not A Robot,” shiny and fresh off her The Crown Jewels EP.

Enjoying myself some Marina tunes, I figured it was high time I blogged about her. I found the perfect opportunity to when I found this outstanding remix by Penguin Prison on her record label’s blog. By the way, highly recommend you read it from time to time

The remix gives the piano-driven “I Am Not A Robot” a funky DFA flavor that is arguably much better than most of the tracks on YACHT’s new album. Listen to it here.
