Little Boots – Time To Pretend (MGMT Cover)
Last year, Little Boots posted this cutesy video on YouTube and did one feel-good, bubbly, and light cover of MGMT’s prolific “Time To Pretend.” And it wasn’t until recently that the .mp3 of her cover started floating around the internets. Little Boots is very simple and very effective on “Time To Pretend” — and that’s the way I like them! I’m developing quite the aural crush on Little Boots! Listen to the cover down there:

I’ll be first to admit that I don’t really follow Ben Lee’s music much, but his acoustic rendition of MGMT’s “Kids” is pretty spectacular. It’s more than just a sit-down-with-your-guitar cover; the layered vocals add so much to the cover.
