Miike Snow Animal (Mark Ronson Remix) remixes music mp3

Well, fancy that… Mark Ronson has been raving about Miike Snow’s down-right irresistible “Animal” for a while now, on Twitter. What is a GRAMMY-famous super-producer to do? Remix the blasted song, of course.

Ronson added smooth jazz horms on this one, reminiscent of his re-imagination of Coldplay’s “God Put A Smile Upon Your Face,” all that’s missing is the thunderous, rolling percussion. Granted, Mark Ronson went for a reggae, throwback feel, slowing things up a bit. Do I miss the idiosyncratic Ronson drums? Hell yeah, I do. But idiosyncratic Ronson brass does it for me too, and  it holds up pretty damn well.

Oh and this mp3 must be off an expanding mix because during the last 12 seconds or so, you can hear Lady GaGa imploring us to look at her, off her hook from Wale’s “Chillin’”

I just don’t feel like this is the kind of song that needs to be (or you can) remix.
