Miike Snow are two parts Bloodshy & Avant (Britney Spears, Madonna, Kylie Minogue), one part Mark Ronson protege, and 3 parts freaking awesome. Their self-titled debut album was released on May 12th, and I have done a bang-up job of not paying too much attention to them. Well not for long, because here is “Animal,” the glorious first single off their album and 3 remixes by Crookers, Treasure Fingers, and Punks Jump Up.
I know I say this a lot, but I have my reasons — “Animal” is one of many jams that you should be putting on all of your playlists all summer long. It’s perfect for a drive, the dancefloor, or for a casual kickback.
