Mos Def “24 Hour Karate School”

On Friday premiered this excellently-titled track on his increasingly relevant blog. producer Ski Beatz can be thanked for the vintage throwback stylings of “24 Hour Karate School”.

Like we said in yesterday’s Touring News column, Mos Def will be headlining a few shows with DOOM.

He has also just been nominated for two GRAMMYs for Best Rap Solo Performance (“Casa Bey”) and Best Rap Album (The Ecstatic). Listen to “Karate School” below:
