Swedish balearic pop ensemble Air France garnered an impressive following after only releasing two Eps – in 06 and 08 respectively – thanks to rave reviews from critics and fans alike. It’s been a while since we’ve heard anything from the electronica outfit, until now. The duo of Joel Karlsson and Henrik Markstedt have finally released a new jam, “It Feels Good To Be Around You,” and have also revealed that there will be a proper full length coming out from them, and soon.
“It Feels Good To Be Around You” recalls tracks like “Beach Party,” with its steel drum rhythms, dreamy ambience, and chopped up r&b samples. What makes it really exhilarating is that it was mixed by U.K. based beatsmith Star Slinger, whose provided us with bad ass remixes of Washed Out, Morning Benders, Deerhunter, and more.
