You really have to hand it to Danny Brown; he stands out. His newest is “Baseline,” a bonus cut from last year’s already bloated XXX album (19-tracks––many of which were some of 2011′s hardest indie rap cuts). “Baseline” boasts a spare drum loop and a trunk-rattling, well, bass line, but as it’s always the case with Danny Brown songs, it’s his idiosyncratic delivery that entertains the most.
