Lupe Fiasco’s latest release “American Terrorist III” sees him drawing some inspiration from an unlikely source – Kavinsky & Lovefoxxx’s contribution to the soundtrack for the film Drive. Over the space-y, ‘80s-influenced surface of “Nightcall,” Lupe deftly crafts the story of a home-grown terrorist. Lupe’s narrative and rhymes are quite impressive, and his use of the sample is pretty ingenious. Check it out.
