Swedish dream pop constructionists jj posted a new song to their blog yesterday called “You Don’t Know How Much It Would Hurt Me If You Said You Were In Love With Me.” The track shares a lot more in common with a quieter, more lo-fi version of How To Dress Well than anything the duo have put it out before. There’s a complete absence of the the hip hop and r&b production they usually sample (Lil Wayne, anyone?) and a lack of any dreamy, sweeping instrumental accompaniment whatsoever.

Elin Kastlander’s normally appreciable and rich vocals are blanketed with layers of reverb; complimented with a seriously dainty backdrop, its about as DIY as they’ve ever gone. Download below:
