“Rolling Stone” may just be our first taste of The Weeknd’s upcoming mixtape, Thursday. True to form, the track came with no explanation from the mysterious duo, but earlier this week we did hear that a press sampling from Thursday would come “sooner than later”.

In any event, “Rolling Stone” is a somber ballad led by Abel Tesfaye’s bittersweet vocals and an acoustic guitar. Spare knocks and clicks also fill the space, evoking How To Dress Well’s masterful Love Remains LP.
