My Morning Jacket will drop their sixth studio record Circuital on May 31, but the band’s decided to tide fans over by releasing the title track as a teaser. And “Circuital” the track is a thrilling taste – it’s about ten super-catchy and irresistibly classic (even to your mom, probably) songs at once over seven and a quarter minutes, nonstop guitar, vocal, even piano hooks without spreading too thin. It’s a really effectual sample of what the band can do and (we can only hope) what they have in store. Give it a listen and download below.
