New Animal Collective Your Love, My Girls (Frankie Knuckles Mashup/Remix) remixes music mp3

Now that we have our Merriweather Post Pavilion review out of the way, it’s time to post this mashup/remix. XXXChange shared this first on his blog:

Animal Collective kicked off the new year with a great album and also leg brought this to my attention:
It’s a mashup of their song “My girls” with Frankie Knuckles “your love” since they both kind of have the same synth melody.

Now, “My Girls” is my (and everyone else’s) favorite track off MPP, and I’d usually detest a remix of a track that is this amazing solo — but Frankie Knuckles’ “Your Love” (which is also amazing solo) is a fantastic mash-up partner for “My Girls.”

Hey dude,
the song rocks.

On a completely unrelated sidenote, I’ve been reading your blog for about 8 months now, and it makes me very happy to watch as the whole site is slowly morphing technologically into this advance, high class, super high tech blog. Cheers!

Man this song is hard, dude! I didn’t think any remix would give My Girls justice!

A bit crude. Nice idea but could be executed much better. Sounds like it was done on a pair of decks rather than a computer.

I like the idea it sounds like it was on decks. 90′s style. :D
