“Broken-Hearted Girl” is a freshly leaked track off Beyonce’s quite wonderful new album I Am…Sasha Fierce. The album is split between classic Beyonce breakbeat dancefloor anthems and sweet ballads. “Broken-Hearted Girl” falls under the latter.

I really enjoyed B’s latest single “If I Were A Boy” — a lot more than that “Single Ladies” mess. “Broken-Hearted Girl” continues to make me believe I enjoy Beyonce’s big-voice ballads a lot more than her transcending hip-hop efforts. This is a song I wouldn’t mind Top 40, Hot AC, Urban, and Urban AC radio burning out.

Leona Lewis, eat your heart out.
