Bloc Party’s almost impromptu album Intimacy has digitally dropped this morning, and its been one huge blog carnival since then. You can still pre-order the album here and take advantage of the digital download. That’s definitely a STEAL.
I’ve been listening to the album for a bit and I HAVE TO admit, it isn’t so bad. Not bad at all. Especially “Ares.” Someone has already said that this song would be a perfect remix song — MSTRKRFT again? Justice anyone?

I’d have to agree. This album really surprised me. Based on the singles that were released I thought it was going to be garbage, but it’s actually quite enjoyable.
Still partial to “Silent Alarm” though…
To hmd1987– That’s what I thought after I heard Mercury, but then I heard some of their other songs of Intimacy like Halo, One Month Off and Signs. I’d check those out if I were you.
