New Coldplay Prospekts March / Poppyfields listen

Coldplay’s new EP Prospetks March is out next Tuesday, November 25th, but you don’t have to wait until then to listen to the title track. I noticed a lot of readers here were pretty excited about the arrival of Prospekt’s March, so I’m sure this will make your weekend.

“Prospekts March /  Poppyfields” is a dismally aware, organ-fuelled ballad that sees Chris Martin facing his own morality of the mortality of those he loves. Despite the all-too-familiar life-affirming chorus, you almost miss the signature Coldplay keys. Though, I guess, having another Brian Eno-fied track isn’t so bad, right?

Download “Prospekt’s March” after the jump!

Oh please, PMA. Stop picking on other blogs (its too obvious). What’s that about ‘WHAT WE STAND FOR’. I know you believe in all that shizz but really you posted too many leaks also on this blog. I love this blog since you post the popular/popular indie yet your entries are not that different from others. Let the other blogs do their thing.

Hey Im just saying these, there’s no need to go screw yourself somewhere, yeah?

Thanks for the track, it sounds great, but I probably won’t get the EP.

I wasn’t going to say anything but, really: to the guy who posted the couple comments above this one…

That “What We Stand For” thing is called a DISCLAIMER. Most music blogs have them. It basically states that all mp3s are meant for promotional/sampling purposes and that the blog owner wants you to go out and buy the music, if you like it. I don’t think PMA was “picking on” other blogs.

And about the “leaks”… I’ve been reading PMA for MONTHS and I have yet to see Full-Album links on here. Posting few tracks is okay, PMA even says that they do it… and for what? To let people SAMPLE the most. If it wasnt for me hearing some songs off of Kanye’s/Killers’/Britney’s new albums, I probably wouldnt be as excited as I am now for the albums. THAT is what PMA stands for. So please, let him do his thing without high-and-mighty comments.

I was thinking the same thing… dude, just lay off.

PMA doesnt post full albums, like, ever. He did post a lot of Kanye tracks… but you know what? Kanye West leaked those himself! So it’s okay, that’s what Kanye wanted to happen.

All the songs are different on the actual album, anyway.

Anyway, PMA is so much better than a lot of other blogs. It doesnt just give you links to new songs… he actually reviews them, or gives basic opinions on the songs. Other blogs are just link dumps. THOSE are the real music pirates. PMA is run by someone who actually loves music and loves talking about music and loves sharing it. That’s why I come back.

Correct me if I’m wrong but Prospekt’s March is already avaible for purschase. Atleast on the Swedish iTunes Music Store. :)

It’s available in some countries. It sees its US release next Tuesday, though.
