“Cath” may not be a viral, conceptual piece of brilliant sappy pop like “I Will Possess Your Heart”, but it definitely does not stray from the glorious mushy love song path that Death Cab have helped paved, strip, repaved, and polish. Even in a live, acoustic setting like this one, “Cath” feels like a Death Cab song. Hoping a studio versions leaks, if not, we’ll have to wait until Narrow Stairs drops.
