There you can get the stems and submit the remix and have users from Beatportal choose the best and Franz Ferdinand will choose the winners which will be featured on the digital single the same day that the physical single gets released. ‘Ulysses’ will be released digitally December 2 and on CD and two different 7″s on January 19. Is this the actual song or a remix? I don’t believe that an actual copy of the song came out, only bits and pieces for the remix project. I may be wrong, but this may be one of the remix’s.
I’ve heard the finished version of this song… and this faked version from the stems of the remix competition are horribly misplaced. The lyrics don’t ever come in at the right time.
FAIL
After downloading this version a few weeks ago, my ears AND brain hurt when I hear the real version.
The lyrics in the album version all come in on the odd beat – when the demo had them on the evens – and vice versa.
My head hurts.
