The blogosphere may be starving for new Justice material, but the remixes keep acomin’. I’m trying to refrain from posting every single one — but that Datsu remix was all the rage, and you know it. And now we have a remix worthy of its predecessor. Disco Villains haven’t been properly introduced here at Pretty Much Amazing, and I don’t know why. Must have slipped my mind. Better late than never, right?
I hear that there’s no introduction like a Justice introduction.Â

erm, “we are your friends” is by simian mobile disco. justice just remixed it. so calling this “new justice” makes no sense whatsoever. unless you’re just disregarding that, hoping that the justice name association will get you alot of hits and nobody will notice. that sounded harsher than it was meant to be.

actually neil, “Never Be Alone” is by simian mobile disco. “We Are Your Friends” is by Justice and (vs) Simian.
i’d still call it more simian than justice.
Terf-Work, I’m pretty sure ‘Never Be Alone’ was by Simian. SMD was born out of the remnents of Simian.

Yeah, it kinda bugged me that everyone gave Justice all the credit for WAYF when it was a remix of ‘Never Be Alone’ by Simian. Granted, it’s a damn good remix. Which essentially makes the Disco Villians mix a remix of a remix… and oh I’ve gone cross eyed.
Funnily enough, same goes for the Faint remix. It’s just a slightly tweaked version of Does It Offend You, Yeah’s remix.
