I’m pretty sure almost every single track of 808’s & Heartbreak has (intentionally) leaked already giving Kanye West an unbelievable amount of online buzz and offline “water cooler” conversations. There’s no doubt in my mind that 808’s will see massive sales and critical acclaim.Â
I know I wasn’t ever too kind to Kanye’s use of the autotune affect — but here’s something that resembles a public apology. Since Kanye explained what it was that he’s created, I’ve seen in use of the autotune in a completely new light.Â

I’m already loving both of these songs (I actually like the unmastered version of Robocop much better and miss the siren sounds), but Luis, I’m very surprised you haven’t posted anything about the new Britney tracks that have leaked. If you didn’t know, breatheheavy.com received an 8 minute mix of songs from Britney’s new album “Circus.” They are each pretty amazing, IMO, and I don’t know if you have something against posting clips of songs, but these are definitely worthy of a mention on the blog. The production is ridiculous, and may be causing more “water cooler” chatter than Kanye, seeing as the pre-order sales of the deluxe version of her album has already boosted her to #4 on the iTunes top albums list.
If you don’t post, it’s okay, but i encourage you to check it out, and a least share your opinion, which is definitely valued.

Luis you need to track down “Paranoid”. It’s the best track in 808s—and it’s the closest Kanye gets to rapping.
