Seriously? Wow this is so cool. I’ll be honest here, the only Lady Sovereign song I’ve ever listened to was “Love Me or Hate Me” (or something like that), it was pretty forgettable but I do remember that I liked it. But nothing enough to make me want to listen to the rest of her album. I’m pretty sure I didn’t miss much.
Anyway, “I Got You Dancing” is Lady “Biggest Midget In The Game” Sovereign’s new, free, ridiculously danceable single. I also hear that this sophomote album will be released on Sovereign’s barely established record label. Maybe that’s the way you DIY bands should do it — become one-hit wonders, have a flop of a debut album, wait 2-3 years and start your own label. Or go all Radiohead on everyone.

What is she like 14 years old? This is hilarious.
This is got me dancing. Good call, PMA. I’ve never really listened to Lady Sovereign either, but maybe I should?
Man, I am really loving the look PMA. This blog has come a long way!
Found this first at Thieves By Tuesday. Here is the site:

The other tracks are pretty cool.
actually, lady sovereign is the real thing. a unique, legitimate rapper and artist. her very glossy commercial videos tend to hide the raw talent underneath. if you don’t believe me, look up her live performance of sad ass strippa on youtube. i actually like some of the other songs on her first album even better than “love me or hate me” like “random” and “blah blah.” just be open-minded and give her a shot. she’s a lot different than most everything else out there. also, she’s actually 23 now. she was around 20 when her first album came out. i know what it’s like to look a lot younger than i am. it sucks as you get taken less seriously.
