2008 was the Year of “A Milli” Remixes for sure, and I know the last thing you want to hear is another “A Milli” remix. I was right there with you when I got the word that Terry Urban mashed Weezy’s “A Milli” and Coldplay’s “Viva La Vida.” Like Joe Statriani, I thought that Terry Urban was a few months late on the whole “Viva” and “Milli” mixage.

But as it turned out, I listened to the remix and dug the hell out of it. Maybe I just can’t get enough of “A Millli.” Or maybe I can’t get enough of the “Viva” synthy-ness. Or maybe it just drives me insane to see how perfectly Lil Wayne’s creepy pronunciation matches “Viva La Vida”‘s synthy-ness.

Here’s to the last great “A Milli” remix of 2008.
