This is a freshly leaked DEMO from Rihanna’s LP4 recording sessions (or something?). I’m sure that with the million-dollar producers Rihanna has at her disposal, “Bitch, I’m Special” can be made presentable. But I do gotta give it to Rihanna — this demo  is loads better than the Prince-sampling “Sexuality.”Â

You also have to love the use of the word “bitch” on the title. It was a ballsy move for Christina Aguilera to use “bitch” in the chorus to her havily played “Keeps Gettin Better” — but Rihanna one-upped her on that one.Â
I know I shouldn’t do this but, based on the demos I’ve heard so far, Rihanna’s new album — supposedly due Spring 2009 — is shaping up to be quite impressive.

I really like 2:24 – 3:01, although it sounds like an entirely different song. This could be really good once they polish it.
I kept having to stop the song cause it sounded like I had two songs playing at once. You never really quite get used to the off-rhythm vocals of the verse, but it really works for the choruses. She’s gotta lose the trumpet part for at least half the song. it gets pretty annoying. overall probably not danceable but definitely radio friendly.
I like it. It’s catchy and the rhythm is all over the place and disorganized. I like that… It’s different and you’ll get use to it and grow to love it the more you listen to it. Very random fun nonsense! yay!
