My feelings towards this track haven’t changed much. I will give it credit for being somewhat of a grower, but at the end of the day, I still know what kind of treasure Kanye West can produce. Compared to his previous efforts, this song truly sounds like piss sour, sentimental R&B.
If he does want to go for a Marvin Gaye-esque feel, as suggested, he needs to loose that shitty T-Pain feel to the track. This new version of the track is probably a bit worse than what he performed at the VMAs, the vocals on chorus seems to have really gone downhill in this studio version. Let’s face it: Kanye isn’t a singer — he’s hardly a rapper sometimes.
I’ve got to say though, this track does keep the lovin’ goin’ for his production skills. Kanye’s new album 808’s and Heartbreak is out December 16th.

Kanye can’t lose the vocoder cause he’s tone deaf! All one has to do is hear him sing the intro on Dj Khaled’s “Go Hard”. Dude couldn’t sing on key to save his life! As a music major I thank God for the vocoder or we would have to listen to Kanye sing.
I’m actually diggin this track. I like it. It’s fresh.
