Oberhofer has covered Kanye’s “Runaway” before, but they’ve finally released an official recording for their sprawling rendition. Oberhofer doesn’t quite convey the stark honesty and feeling Kanye does, but the song’s solemn piano ballad chords reimagined as muggy shoegaze is a nice touch.
