Dom – “Jesus”

“Jesus”, another tune from Dom’s forthcoming 10″ Sun Bronzed Greek Gods, like Fluxblog points out, is a song about being completely aware of your temporal, fleeting desires. Dom’s desires, which include having something to believe in and parties in nondescript basements, aren’t vastly different than the wishes and desires presented, so managerially, in Girls’ “Lust For Life”. Ratatat – “Neckbrace”

Last week we announced that Ratatat will release LP4 on June 8th. The album has since leaked, a little over a month a head of schedule. Just like you would have expected from Ratatat LP4 feels like you’ve been hit my a baseball bat. Coincidentally, that’s exactly how “Neckbrace” starts off. (Read more to LISTEN/DOWNLOAD)

Tegan and Sara – “Alligator” (RAC Remix)

At the risk of sounding like a broken record, RAC does not cease to amaze me with his ability to produce premium-quality remixes that are free of gimmick and irony and do everything humanly possible to enhance whatever song is on RAC’s operating table, without completely destroying the original aesthetic vision. Britney Spears – “Telephone”

It looks like Lady GaGa and Beyonce’s smash hit, “Telephone,” was originally written for Britney Spears. Before turning it down and leaving it wide open for GaGa, Britney apparently recorded a duet with auto-tune instead of Beyonce. But don’t worry, that godawful Grand Central Station line is still intact. (Read more to LISTEN)
