BF(ucking)FFs!

Unless you’ve been under a rock (or, dare I say, offline) for the last 24 hours of human existence, you may have heard that Passion Pit’s highly overwhelmingly anticipated debut album, Manners has leaked. When asked if the album did in fact leak, Passion Pit’s rep wasn’t available to comment.

Leaked or not, you will see a Manners review on PMA sometime next week. Passion Pit Folds In Your Hands stream music mp3

In the meantime, I present to you, “Folds In Your Hands.” This Manners track features quasi-handclaps and twinkling synths, something not exactly unfamiliar to Passion Pit’s scapegrace music. The song doesn’t really hit its stride until the 1:20 mark where it gives us a jaw-dropping series of synth-filled crescendo-explosions.

As Big Boi would say, “Drip, drip, drop. There goes an eargasm.” Word!

I think it’s time you pre-ordered the album.

You know, there is also a lot of backlash with Passion Pit. Seems they’re just not everyone’s style, but some ppl have taken it too far! So it’s majorly hyped, so what! Let those who love it love it in peace. Like me!!!! wow ok sorry I’m just so euphoric that it leaked, because I went away for ONE day, ONE DAY (yes, I was offline/living under a rock), and I come back and it’s leaked! Ahhhh I’m just so excited :) :) :) And I will DEFINITELY support this band and buy their album when it comes out. besides, i want 320 :)

Wow, every track I hear is amazing. That is so rare for me. This is going to be such a kick-ass summer soundtrack.

Has the vernacular changed in the last week, or is that not a rather questionable use of the expression “banger”?

haha, i don’t think Passion Pit has any bangers, at least not by, say, 2007′s standards. Remember those bangers?

I’m personally more confused by the last line of the post.

“As Big Boi would say, “Drip, drip, drop. There goes an eargasm.” Word!”

Really? The post is about a hipster band and we’re quoting a rapper followed by “Word!”??

Just seemed a touch out of place. Maybe I’m alone on this.

“Really? The post is about a hipster band and we’re quoting a rapper followed by “Word!”??”

That was dumb. Who cares. What the hell is a hipster band. Why can’t band just be a, well, band anymore.

It was definately an eargasm though.

I’m sure even the hipsteriest of hipsters know that song and know who outkast is. :)

if you don’t, get educated.
