Phoenix stopped by Germany’s musikexpress (via Tripwire) to perform unplugged renditions of Wolfgang Amadeus Phoenix favorites — “1901″ and “Lisztomania”, as well as this Bob Dylan cover. Phoenix strip “Sad-Eye Lady of the Lowlands”‘ 11 minutes to a digestible 4 minutes, featuring only fromtman Thomas Mars’ vocals and a strumming guitar.

According to GvsB, Memory Tapes’ remix of “1901″ will appear on an upcoming purple vinyl single with another “1901″ remix from Animal Collective.
