Suckers’ long waited debut album, Wild Smile is out June 8 on Frenchkiss. To promote their upcoming LP, the band has embarked on a month-long tour with labelmates Local Natives. What Suckers have done here is see the value in Wide Eyes’ best attribute — the dual chanting of Taylor Rice and Ryan Hahn. They took that and blazed the spot light on it, while splashing on some undersea synths reminiscent of the sounds we heard on Yeasayer’s excellent Odd Blood.
