PS:
Just wanted to point a couple of things out:
1) Veckatimest hasn’t been released yet, so I’m not sure if it counts… but so many of you have put Veck as one of your favorites, I just might let it slide.
2) EPs are fine. So are compilations
3) UK / US releases are interchangeable
4) Manners isn’t out.. nor has it leaked, it’s sort of silly for you to put it up on here. Every other song, aside from The Reeling could suck balls. You wouldn’t know ![]()

Just wanted to point a couple of things out:
1) Veckatimest hasn’t been released yet, so I’m not sure if it counts… but so many of you have put Veck as one of your favorites, I just might let it slide.
2) David… Day & Age is from 2008
3) EPs are fine. So are compilations
4) UK / US releases are interchangeable
5) Manners isn’t out.. nor has it leaked, it’s sort of silly for you to put it up on here. Every other song, aside from The Reeling could suck balls. You wouldn’t know
#1. It’s Blitz! – Yeah Yeah Yeahs
#2. Away From The Sea – Yuksek
#3. Merriweather Post Pavilion – Animal Collective
1. Its Blitz – Yeah Yeah Yeahs
2. The Spirit of Apollo – N.A.S.A
3. The-Dream – Love vs. Money
1.) Junior Boys – Begone Dull Care
2.) The Whitest Boy Alive – Rules
3.) Phoenix – Wolfgang Amadeus Phoenix
1. Merriweather Post Pavillion – Animal Collective
2. The Hazards of Love – The Decemberists
3. Spirit of Apollo – NASA
GIMME <3
So early in the year, yet already so difficult-
3)M. Ward: Hold Time
2)Merriweather Post Pavillion – Animal Collective
1)It’s Blitz! – Yeah Yeah Yeahs
Those are my first thoughts, so I’ll post ‘em. I know if I think about it too much, I’ll change these three so many times I’ll miss the deadline.
1.Roysopp – Junior
2.The-Dream – Love vs. Money
3.The Lonely Island – Incredibad
1.Royksopp – Junior
2. The-Dream – Love vs. Money
3. The Lonely Island – Incredibad
1. Merriweather Post Pavilion
2. Love vs. Money
3. Wolfgang Amadeus Phoenix
1. Metric – Fantasies
2. Röyksopp – Junior
3. Franz Ferdinand – Tonight: Franz Ferdinand
1. Dan Deacon – Bromst
2. Various Artists – Dark Was The Night
3. Röyksopp – Junior
Luis – I see what you’re saying about “Manners” (it is on my list), but given Passion Pit’s track record so far, I’d be a betting woman and double down on it being very good. Phoenix’s album isn’t out yet either, but it is also showing up a lot. I wanted to put Empire of the Sun’s “Walking on a Dream” on my list, but didn’t know if it counted because it was released in 2008 in Australia but nowhere else until 2009.
1. MPP
2. Fist of God- MSTRKRFT (5.5 or not, I still like it)
3. Incredibad
1. Kylie Minogue – Boombox
2. DMX – Playlist your Way: The DMX Hits CD
3. Korn – Korn: Collected
1) It’s Not Me, It’s You — Lily Allen
2) Ayumi Hamasaki — Next Level (gotta love the Jpop ^^V)
3) The Spirit of Apollo — N.A.S.A.
Damn!! Only 3?!?
1 Nonsense in the Dark (Filthy Dukes)
2 Wolfgang Amadeus Phoenix (Its leaked, it counts)
3 THE.PMA.EP
Honerable mentions: Incredibad Merriweather Post Pavilion
Hazzards of love Tonight: Franz ferdinand Dark was the Night TIGER SAPIAN EP :-.D (probably) manners It’s Blitz! (!!!!) and more. BTW there seem to be alot of Davids, so from here on out I am the david with ~!.
My EP thats dropping in the next few weeks, totally ;-.)
1. Lady Gaga – The Cherrytree Sessions (live) – EP
2. Of Montreal – Mad Decent Remixes – EP
3. N.A.S.A. – The Spirit of Apollo
EP’s Better Count.

1. Phoenix – Wolfgang Amedeus Phoenix
2. Yeah Yeah Yeah’s – It’s Blitz
3. Grizley Bear – Veckatimest
Kelly Clarkson – All I Ever Wanted
Lily Allen – It’s Not Me, It’s You
Utada – This Is the One
Number one at this point would have to be NASA’s ‘Spirit Of Apollo’. SOme of the collabs on there are jut amazing; Tom Waits & Cool Keith, RZA & John Frusciante, and my favourite – George Clinton & Chali 2na.
Number two would be Dan Auerbach’s solo album ‘Keep It Hid’. It’s pretty much a continuation of The Black Keys’ sound, but it has some really improved songwriting and changes in tempo which keep it really dynamic. And damn, is he a great guitarist.
Number three really has me stumped. Not a fan Of Lily Allen, or electro really. Dislike Animal Collective like no man should, but do. I think for numver three I’ll go with The Lonely Island boys’ ‘Incredibad’, solely for Natalie Portman. She’s pretty great.
Pick me for win!
