Saw this at about 4am this morning. Was too tired to post it up then, so here you have it!
That is a fantastic lineup! I think I like it better than last year. Saturday is going to be AMAZING — Killers, Amy Winehouse, TV On The Radio, Fleet Foxes, MSTRKRFT! If I had to choose only one, that would be the day.
Do you guys have your tickets? I don’t. Wish me luck on nabbing 3-day passes before they sell out. What are your thoughts on the lineup? Everyone seems to be raving about it so far.
Anyway, so this week’s question is another easy one: Who are you most excited to see at Coachella (in person, or via AT&T’s Blue Room magic)? And if you’re feeling dirty: Do you not like the lineup? Who’s missing?
And this is the first time we don’t have a sponsor for a Q&A Friday. Big bummer [sad face]. Ok let me plug this real quick, so this doesn’t happen again:

Yeah, that’s how it works, guys. Oh but just because we don’t have a sponsor this time doesn’t mean I’m not giving anything away! I’m expecting a new vinyl order to come in today (it’s my new years resolution to collect as much vinyl as I can), and I’m going to have an extra copy of Merriweather Post Pavilion gathering dust, so I’m going to give it away here.

The lineup is pretty awesome. Morrissey, MBV,Paul Weller, Yeah Yeah Yeahs, Silversun Pickups. Only things that are missing are a big electronic act and a headliner for Saturday.
Blur. Blur is missing from this lineup.
I’m not going to get into who is missing but will say that I agree w/ you on Saturday being the best. Although if I went just Saturday I’d be really bummed about missing Yeah Yeah Yeahs on Sunday. DAMN YOU COACHELLA! DAMN YOOOOU.

most excited for: almost impossible to decide!!! but being that the musical gods are looking kindly upon us this year, a lot of these acts are touring, so i’m gonna get to see them before hand (i.e. the presets, peter bjorn and john, white lies, friendly fires, etc)
but i guess, i’d say My Bloody Valentine, i think they are one of those bands that you just have to experience live! and since i didnt get to see them this summer… cochella would be a good time.
so if I had to choose a day, I would unwillingly say, Sunday. The Cure + MBV + lots of other awesomness, is just too much. But that doesn’t go without saying that I’d be totally bummed to be missing Morrissey, white lies, TV on the Radio…
i’m not gonna lie, i’m in a really good mood today, so this seem amazing the way it is. the only band that maybe i’d say is missing is radiohead, but they were there last year, and i just say that because i’m obsessed.
I need to restart my vinyl collection. My exes keep getting it after we move!
girl talk, ghostland, and crystal castles are great live acts. also excited for switch, amy winehouse should be interesting, and i wannasee cloud cult. to be honest I like friday the most.
I like all the headliners, but I’m most excited about friendly fires, crystal castles, liars, N.A.S.A… and the possibility of a disaster – between brian jonestown massacre and amy winehouse i expect at least one catastrophy.
Amy Winehouse! Still haven’t given up.
this looks awesome! saturday is def the best day. amy winehouse, band of horses, fleet foxes, crookers, blitzen trapper, drop the lime!
buuuut i’m sad there’s no little boots, css, or peaches (doesn’t she have new stuff coming out this year?)
Exciting to see Fleet Foxes, Girl Talk, Crystal Castles, and the Killers. Would like to meet Lupe Fiasco.
The lineup is missing MGMT, Animal Collective, and Kings of Leon…among others.
Ridiculous nonetheless. PMA Approved.
Very sweet lineup. Wish I lived close enough to go. It’ll always be a dream of mine to go to Coachella. Someday…
I’m excited to see Paul McCartney, Franz Ferdinand, Conor Oberst, Beirut, Los Campesinos! The Killers and Late of the Pier.
I love vinyls…
Glad I will catch Moz on a regular show date and all the electronic groups worth noting at Ultra before Coachella!
Killers-100%! They always put on one heck of a show… solid tunes back to front minus the babble (and minus the annoying Freddie Mercury – Dirty Sanchez) moustache that BFlo had going on. And, anytime I can see ole’ boy from My Name Is Earl rock out on stage like that… oh, wait.
How could I rip on the lineup? I’m in an awesome mood! After all, I am “Sugar Baby, a Sugar Daddy, a Boy Toy, a Sugar Mommy, a Mistress & Benefactor” in all one!
Good night. Be here all week.
Hi!
I personally think last year’s line up was better !
Very well rounded festival. I would have liked to see a newish hip-hop act, like Wale. And happy MGMT won’t be ruining the festival.
missing: M83, Feist/Broken Social Scene, Bon Iver, Arcade Fire, Andrew Bird, among others.
WHY is jenny lewis’ name so small?!
and billy talent is lookin pretty out of place.
I’m so sad Radiohead isn’t playing, that is my only complaint.
Suprised at how good sunday is.
…Paul McCartney? Really?
I’ll tell my parents to get their tickets asap…
and the Killers are just run of the mill nowadays.
But I mean, these guys are ultimately about making money, right?
I’m a vinyl fanatic, hook me up!!!
Rage.
I still regret missing Rage at coachella. Rage is missing.
I’m most excited to see Lupe FO SHO.
sick lineup, sad i can’t make it this year. but the same group of bands usually make the festival rounds, so i’ll just go catch them at lolla. hopefully wino will do a tour, i need to see her before she gets committed to a mental hospital/ croaks!
TV on the Radio by FAR. I can’t even imagine how much more powerful their new(ish) tracks will be live.
Most excited for MACCA! Where is Animal Collective? Lineup is ok…Killers headlining Sat. night? Don’t agree with that…
One of the strongest lineups in recent memory. The top 1/3rd of every day are just all-star talent all around.
I am excited for The Black Keys
and I totally agree on MGMT and Animal Collective missing from the weekend.
Friday especially looks awesome. Girl Talk, The Black Keys, NASA, plus seeing Beirut at a big festival will be interesting. Agree with others though- where is Animal Collective?
I am most excited to see The Cure, Glass Candy and Sebastien Tellier!
Where is AnCo? Metronomy? Flying Lotus? Abe Vigoda?
i want that vinyl
i’m not feelin the coachella linup
are they serious with the killers?and amy w?
the line up isnt hittin the spot this year…
though i would deff stay for atmosphere!and crystcastles!
and a few others MAYBE.
…LAME..not worth the cash
