My favourite Flight Of The Conchords moment would have to be Murray investing band money into stars and naming his Murray Land, classic. Would love to win this because im a Kiwi and am really proud of what these guys do.

I think my favorite moment is when Bret and Jemaine are mugged and chased by two thugs, and Jemaine’s clothes get stuck on the fence. Instead of helping Jemaine, Bret makes a run for it. I couldn’t stop laughing.

I love when he meets the girl with the sandwich board and she can’t get his name straight. Little moments like that crack me the fuck up.

“Brit?”

My favourite moment is from the episode called “Bowie”
It’s when Bowie visits Bret in a dream.
“Oh, the media monkies and their junky junkies will invite you to their plastic pantomine…”

My favorite moment is Bret’s David Bowie dream, specifically Goblin King-David Bowie. I have an (embarrasing) obsession with the movie Labyrinth, and a friend showed my that episode to get me into Flight of the Conchords. It worked! Plus accompanying song is genius… “Do you have one really funky sequined space suit, Bowie? Or do you have several ch-ch-ch-ch-changes?…. Do they smoke grass out there in space, man, or do they smoke astroturf? ” hehe :)

In ‘Yoko’, when Bret, Jemaine and Coco are on the bus. Is it going to be the girl or the band? Bret chooses the girl, Coco tries to say something, and Bret (all staunch) says, ‘Shush, baby’. Heee!

My favorite moment with FOTC was like 3 years ago when they played in bumbershoot in WA. It was such a community event to watch these two unknown new zealanders play ridiculously hilarious music. Two years later we later we saw a preview on HBO for the show, and all of a sudden we were meeting other people to duet Business Time with, instead of just me an my sibling

It’s been great watching the band evolve from a little known hilarious band to flourish into a New Zealand comedy-star-duo-extravaganza-sensation.

After they do “a sixteenth” of acid and Bret moves the bathroom walls, shortly before they have a conversation about three-ways. Jemaine reveals that he’s almost had a threesome (he’s had a twosome), and Bret urges him to leave. “I’ve done a one-way, a two-way….this is my big chance to have a three-way.”

When Bret and Jemaine are at Mel’s house with their new fans and Bret is trying to pee and Mel comes in to talk to him. When she asks him if he needs any help. Then there is that drawing on the wall of a naked body with both Bret’s and Jemaine’s heads. And then Mel slowly pulling back her head as she closes the door is so funny. Mel is just so creepy and awkward and uncomfortable but any scene with her is hilarious.

when bret dave and murray return to the scene of the mugging to reminisce and dave pours some iced tea for jermaine.. “remember that thing he always used to say?”"what?” “yeah… what what… that was jermaine, always questioning things”!

Everything about the song “if you’re into it”. The set up of “i wrote you this song, had some help from jemaine”
and jemaine turning up from out of no where and singing that really low bit of the chorus.
brilliant !

In the ‘Yoko’ episode the whole meeting in the middle.
She brings them lunch all of it is pretty golden but it’s roflmao funny by the time Bret throws the sandwich in Jermaine’s face.

“Yeah, well I said I’d throw a sandwich in your face”

My favourite moment from their live set where they sing about world issues; “I saw a man lying on the street half dead
He had knives and forks sticking out of his leg
He said, Ahh ahh ahh ahhhhhhhhwww
Can somebody get the knife and fork out of my leg, please
Ooh, could somebody please remove these cutleries from my knees
Yeah yeeeahhh” and then they break down all funky like.

From the TV show it is probably when they pull off crazy stunts, like eating an 18 dollar can of peanuts, which drives Murray to swear violently;

I’m so angry I feel like swearing…

Oh, you wouldn’t do that, would you Murray?

…Go fuck yourself, Bret!

My favorite FOTC moment had to be the episode where they get mugged. Not only are both of the songs ridiculously funny, the exchange with Dave about how Jermaine may have di(e)d just cracked me up.

My favourite moment is when the FOTC go on tour and Murray buys them both leather jackets. Then he also gets them a glass of beer to share. I love these guys!

It would have to be when Bret reads through the itinerary for the band’s tour. It’s obviously an itinerary from when Murray went on a rugby tour.

Jemaine: How big’s the bus going to be? The tour bus.
Murray: This is the tour bus, Jemaine.
Jemaine: This isn’t a tour bus. It says here we’re going to have a tour bus.
Murray: No, that’s the rugby itinerary, isn’t it? Alright, there’s only two of you, you’re not a big rugby team, you don’t need a bus.
Bret: Oh, I thought we were getting a tour bus.
Murray: No, that’s the rugby itinerary, Bret, alright? You can see there I’ve crossed out bus, haven’t I?
Jemaine: Yeah you crossed out bus and you wrote bus.
Murray: Yeah, I got confused there, I didn’t know what to do. Honda Accord was too big to fit in the gap there, so I put bus back in. I knew as soon as I wrote it there’d be some sort of controversy.

Pretty much the entire Robots sequence. It’s a tossup between “zero zero zero zero zero zero one” and “We wanted ones like Daft Punk.”

I love when Dave tries to teach Bret and Jemaine how to flip the bird, and they don’t understand, and make up all these hand gestures that actually look like birds to flip to their racist fruit vendor.

Also, any moment when Mel makes her poor husband wait around for hours so that she can talk to Bret and Jemaine, she is the cutest stalker in the world.

Hands down the best moment is “Brett you’ve got it going on.”

My Favourite Flight of the conchords moment has to be when Murray, Bret and Dave are hanging out in the back alleys looking for Jemaine. Then Murray says “You guys could end up ded” and it starts this hilarious argument with Dave and Murray over the Kiwi pronunciation of ‘dead.

I love how flight of the conchords got so popular, My buddies and I were in a “tribute” band to them before they hit it big. Back when they just had done the HBO special.

my all time favorite moment is when they came to the tower theater right outside philly, put on an amazing show, and proceeded to stay after and sign autographs/take pictures with everyone who waited out in the cold. they were seriously some of the nicest guys i’ve ever met, and were almost amazed by how many fans they had waiting for them.

My favorite FOTC is during the episode they get “mugged” and run away. When Jemaine, Murray, and Dave go back to the fence and Dave gets confused about their accent.

I think my favorite scene was in the season finale when Bret tells Murry that Todd has to go.

MURRY: What do you mean? He’s cooler than both of you put together. Look at him over there with all his friends. He’s like the Pied Piper of cool. Pied Piper was cool wasn’t he?
BRET: Pied Piper wasn’t cool, he took all those kids into a cave.

HAHAHA.

mugging episode-

Jemaine – “that’s not a knife.”
Bret – “yes it is.”
Jemaine – “oh yee, that is a knife”
*runs away*

Dave – “wait, are they bringing the body out here??”

I think my favorite is the one where the girl wants to have a three way and jermaine thinks shes talking about the two girls and him, but really its bret and jermaine and her and they try to escape through the bathroom window but it just leads to the living room where the girl is

Definitely “Frodo Don’t Wear the Ring”.
As a nerd, it’s just too great to pass up.
the golden moment: “I don’t rap about bitches and hos, I rap about witches and troll.”
Or when Bowie comes into the room in a dream, that’s my second.
