Radiohead Wonderwall (Oasis Cover) music mp3 covers
Those of us that grew up in the brief era when Oasis was the shit and Wonderwall plagued the airwaves, might find this brief parody a little offensive. Especially when Thom Yorke seems to forget the lyrics and begins to mumble almost incomprehensibly.

But hey, it’s Radiohead, so I guess it makes it ok. They might be one of a very select few bands that can get away with covering, and simultaneously ‘taking a piss’ (as our English friends would say) on such a 90’s classic. Much thanks to WAWSTSF for unearthing it for us.

lol. It’s ‘taking the piss’. Taking a piss happens in a different venue…

I always liked that cover version, especially the ending with that “it’s always good to make fun of Oasis / They don’t mind it.” :D

And you’re “taking the piss out of them” not taking a piss on them haha. But we get the picture.

I almost hoped this was a Rick Roll. Apparently, it wasn’t. I still think Wonderwall belongs in teenage guitar classes, but that may just be me though. Interesting that Radiohead would cover that track, but Thom Yorke works in mysterious ways.

In a way their comments on the end illustrate what a lame song this is really is in that any frat boy with a guitar can play it… And probably has.

That’s not Thom at all. The inflections and everything are totally off. Props to the idiot who tried to pull it off and totally failed

Uh, Scott, the song is on the Radiohead LP, “Unplugged.”

That’s the brilliance of this track. It’s easy to play, but still beatiful.

And btw, Thom Yorke should go fuck himself
