It’s no surprise that we’re looking forward to Wu-Tang member Raekwon’s upcoming March release Shaolin vs. Wu-Tang – and Rae dropped another taster to tide us over until the record drops. The title track has an irresistible beat – dramatic violin and clubby drum machine sounds like a Hollywood shoot-em-up soundtrack. Raekwon needs to realize, though, that his flow and beats can create this vibe by themselves – he doesn’t need to take up half his song’s prime rapping space with samples from old-timey movies. Check it out anyway while you wait these last few weeks for the rest of the record.

Charlotte Aitchison’s second LP is a warhead, a sonic sour bomb that conceals sneering attitude and caustic kiss-offs beneath an initially shimmering pop sheen.
From his still-unannounced new album, featuring Thundercat, Bilal and production from Astronote.
With help from Vampire Weekend’s Rostam Batmanglij and an amazing piano.
These guys would probably get along if they ever met.
Another track from Future Brown’s upcoming self-titled record.
