Last week we announced that Ratatat will release LP4 on June 8th. The album has since leaked, a little over a month a head of schedule. Just like you would have expected from Ratatat LP4 feels like you’ve been hit my a baseball bat. Coincidentally, that’s exactly how “Neckbrace” starts off.
“Neckbrace” is an all too delicious kick to the crotch. I know I’m borderline gushing here, but I was completely floored when I first heard it, an effect I’ve experienced before with “Seventeen Years”. This song could eat children if only it could fit a whole one inside its mouth. Listen to it below:
