Hip Hop legend Pete Rock, who has worked with the likes of A Tribe Called Quest, the Roots, and Mary J. Blidge, has decided to remix pop’s history-making newbie superstar. Pete turned Lady GaGa’s synth-licking “Poker Face” into an instant 80′s throwback. GaGa fans will probably hate this, Pete Rock fans will appreciate this. I am stuck somewhere in between.

Im a big fan of pete rock type stuff.
I can listen to 9th wonder instrumentals all day and I absolutely love j-dillas music.
but remixes like this just dont work.
The thing is that hes actually feeling himself on this and it makes it worse.
