It was the sheer grandeur of “Try Sleeping With A Broken Heart” that made Tegan and Sara call The Element of Freedom their favorite album of 2009. It was that same gorgeous grandeur that had my ear hooked last year. Swedish superstar songstress, , tried to channel that quality off bigness in her latest Live Lounge Session over at BBC’s Radio 1. Ignoring a tiny lyrical fumble (we love those!), the cover is flawless; Robyn’s voice has really never sounded better. The backing track left quite a bit to be desired, but for a quickie radio jam sesh, this one takes honors. You can listen to or download the cover here:

She just keeps making me fall in love with her! This is amazing. I LOVE the vibe she gives the song.
