Santigold Southerngold (Terry Urban & Gold Coin Clothing Mixtape) stream remixes music mp3 feature

Earlier this month, Terry Urban, the genius mastermind behind many mashup mixtapes featuring Kanye West, Jay-Z, Coldplay, and others, was preparing to unleash his latest mixtape Southerngold which basically takes Santigold’s debut album and mashes it up with various rappers from the good ole South. Unfortunately Santigold’s record label, Downtown Records, issues a cease and desist order and officially shut the project down.

Of course, this didn’t stop Southerngold from circulating all over the net. I’ve stayed away from it, until now. Music Bitch reports that “Santigold herself declared that she supported the mixtape culture and she would like it to be released.” That’s enough for me. If Santi wants people to listen to the mixtape, then people ought to listen to it! I will help make Santigold’s wishes come true by telling y’all download the mixtape in its entirety right here. What are you waiting for?

when will labels learn that artists want other people to adapt their work? At least REAL artists do.

Just getting around to listening to it, it’s pretty decent actually. Just can’t stand all that cursing which is strange since I don’t mind hearing it on tv, only on songs..
