On “Your Voice,” we see a Santigold fully comfortable churning out ballad-y dub tracks. We saw her flirting with some Diplo dub on their collaborative mixtape, Top Ranking. Fun fact, the original version of “Your Voice” was a lot more post-punk and a lot less dub. It was performed by Santi’s original band, Stiffed, but it seems like Santi is taking over from here.

Is this how the follow-up album will sound like? I’m not exactly sold. Listen to it after the jump

this has been out for a while, at least i got it from rcrdlbl like a year ago. it didnt make the album or something but Its one of my favorite santigold songs. http://rcrdlbl.com/2008/05/02/exclusive_download_santogold_your_voice
