Arcade Fire’s violinist Sarah Neufeld is one of the band’s hidden treasures – her smart, flowing lines anchor some of the band’s best songs. She’s releasing her debut solo album, Hero Brother, later this summer – Nils Frahm recorded Sarah playing her songs in geodesic domes, parking garages, and concert halls around Berlin. You can stream the record’s instrumental title track now; check out its driving Balkan feel and the influence of art composers like Steve Reich, too. Hero Brother is out August 20.
