Scarlett Johansson Last Goodbye (Jeff Buckley cover) stream music mp3 covers

Though many people make fun of Scarlett Johansson’s debut/Tom Waits cover album, I actually liked it — and I was excited to hear that Scarlett was covering Jeff Buckley for the kickass soundtrack of that not-too-cutesy, hey! I might actually watch that Valentines Day(ish) movie, He’s Just Not That Into You. Oh, and it’s nice to see a non-”Hallelujah” Jeff Buckley cover, too.

I wonder if we’re ever going to hear some original material from this gorgeous lady anytime soon. Listen to “Last Goodbye” after the jump.

It’s good to hear that somebody say they enjoyed her CD, I thought it was quite nice.

“Hallelujah” was actually Jeff Buckley covering Leonard Cohen…

SCARLETT JOHANSSON COVERS JEFF BUCKLEY”
The girl cannot sing. This is how one knows what music really means to a person. If she really had any balls and music really meant something to her, she would have made sure Jeff Buckley’s version got on that soundtrack. The money they got could have gone to Jeff’s charity “Road Recovery”. I really feel it’s an injustice to Jeff’s music if you can’t produce as great or greater cover. He did so so many covers of greats like Ray Charles, and ten out of ten times he went far beyond them. Unless U can do that you have no business covering any of his work, because you can’t. You only make a fool of yourself. People need to know their limitations.
