We weren’t impressed with Calvin Harris’ newest album, but we also can’t deny that the man can make mega-fun music. PMA has been a big fan of Calvin’s remixes the most. One of our biggest complaints on his new album was the undeniable feeling that his tunes would be a lot better if another vocalist took charge. This is exactly what we get when Harris takes on guilty-pleasure pop tunes, like Shakira’s “She Wolf.”
The man has a knack for grabbing already catchy pop tunes by the neck and turning them into sure-fire dance-floor fillers. I challenge you to play this remix at your next party and see if people don’t start going down. I know I will make sure to jot this one onto this weekend playlist. Along with this tune. What would I do without PMA? Probably still sitting and listening to Dimmu Borgir (srsly lol) and other stuff..
i love dimmu borgir! dont be hatin!
lulz. I can still find myself listening to “Live at Ozzfest 2004″ because it’s so f-ing good \m/_d[>_<]b
I agree Calvin Harris album would have benefited by a more Guetta like guest list and more…but damn he can turn out some spot on tasty remixed morsels and this is one for sure – THANKS PMA!!!
Hmm Dimmu Borgir does have it’s moments….maybe Calvin can do a remix of The Sacrilegious Scorn
this song is really really bad…. no calvin harris remix will fix it. god listen to the lyrics…! ” i’m feeling kind of abused like a coffee machine in an office”?!?! for real? shakira is so fucking whack dude. s.o.s. i wish she was still in disguise… forever… but lordy shes sexy.
Shakira has always had zany lyrics. They are definitely not bad. “i’m feeling kind of abused like a coffee machine in an office” does not equal bad lyric
I’m vouching for this song. It is written better than most dance-y, Madonna-esque pop songs. Lordy, lordy she is sexy.
And yes, she co-wrote this song with a Jorge Dexler (he co-wrote the spanish version with her. She wrote the English version alone).
sadly she didnt even write those lyrics!? hahaha.
thank you for the download.
this is the best remix of she wolf
and definitely better than anything off of calvin's latest cd
