It’s Sunday and I’m sort of bummed. Bummed because I can’t go here anymore and download wicked remixes every Sunday afternoon. I’m sure many people here feel the same way, so here’s to keeping the seat warm until Palm’s Out moves over to wordpress!

PS: WordPress is THE shit. And if you’re still on blogger, go die you need to move your butt over to WordPress ASAP. You don’t have a single excuse. Hosting is CHEAP (~$10/month) and a domain is even CHEAPER (~10/year). Why are you still on Nazi-Blogger?? While you’re thinking this over, here are some remixes I’ve been feeling lately.

Justice vs. Ratatat – We Are Your Friends (Bearbot Remix)

Michael Jackson – Smooth Criminal (LAZRtag Remix)

Digitalism – Taken Away (LAZRtag Remix)

Tiga – Mind Dimension (Darling Farah Remix)

N.E.R.D. – Rockstar (The Disco Villains Remix)

The All-American Rejects – Gives You Hell (The Bloody Beetroots Remix)

Mr. Oizo – Gay Dentist (JFK Edit)

Franz Ferdinand – Ulysses (Beyond The Wizard’s Sleeve Remix)

Tiga – Mind Dimension (Youth Attack! Remix)

Radiohead – Reckoner (Spider & The Flies Remix)

Hercules & Love Affair – Blind (Frankie Knuckles Remix) — because the first time I posted this track didn’t work!!

More Remixes!

i’ve heard about 5 billion remixes of “Ulysses” but I have yet to hear the actual song. Damn.

ummm, thanks, but i wasn’t bitching… i was just pointing out that luis has posted a few remixes of the song and has never actually posted the song itself.

jesus, don’t get your panties in a twist.

srsly, how cool is that photo! post cool pics all of the time pma! this will be like HRO. the differences:

*instead of stupid alt/azn/party pix, you will post interesting, intriguing, awesome flickr pix
*you will use proper grammar, spell things out, etc
*you will post amazingly better music
*no satirical ‘social commentary’.
*no weird quotation marks on every other word. like ‘this’.

i am pleased.

i love how you go bashing on hro (i.e. how it doesnt spell words out), yet you used the term “srsly.”

you’re funny.

wondering who made it cool… :P

Jako January 6, 2009 at 2:18 pm

yeah, me too :)

Joshua January 6, 2009 at 10:22 pm

haha, Jako, what I was getting at is that i’m sure BEARBOT is TOTALLY happy that PMA posted their remix.

no offense, but PMA’s reach is many, many times bigger than your blog’s.

You did him no favors, he’s doing the djs/producers big favors.

I’m totally aware of that, think you got me wrong on that one… anyway, have a nice day!;)

someone named casio did the same justice/ratatat mashup back in ’07 and it was wayyyyy better: http://hypem.com/track/288943/CASIO-We+Are+Seventeen+(Ratatat+vs.+Justice)

don’t like that bearbot mash up, quite boring + the guy put the piano of 17 yrs and the guitar over each other, so theres juste too much going on in the same frequency range

the gay dentist edit is money though!!!!!!!!!!!!!!1111ONE!!!
