BORING??
As boring as Merriweather Post Pavillion?? I thought so.

‘Marrow’ is ANYTHING but BORING.

The above statement is a FACT, not OPINION.

If you were to say you scribbled “BORING” next to 10 of the 11 tracks then I would not be so harsh, although I would still strongly disagree.

I still respect you my friend. More than respect most reviewers, or whatever they refer to them as.

I’m with you on Grizzly Bear. I’m with you on the universal acclaim. But I’m just one guy, and just one opinion, and I didn’t really like the album…”The Neighbors” is stuck in my head though- that’s a great song. I was hoping more of the album would be like it.

You need your ears checked…I would have to put this and the new Grizzly Bear album at the top of my list for 2009. This is a perfect mix of musicianship, production, songwriting, and artistry that reveals a little itself the more you listen. I guarantee you that this record will have universal acclaim.

I agree, this album was a bit of a disappointment (nothing deserving of a 5.5, though!), but it was still much better than her last release.

you’ve got this completely wrong in my opinion. how can you say the songs are bare when there’s that incredible build that climaxes ‘Black Rainbow’? It is FAR from boring and it is DEFINITELY a grower. Listen to it 2 or 3 more times.

Yeah.. you know your stuff Adam and I must say that I feel exactly like you :/ I was really disappointed when I first listened through this album for the first time. The second time didn’t change my opinion much..
