Brooklyn’s Suckers have been making a fabulously irresistible kind of worldly guitar pop for a long time with way too little recognition, but that’s about to change because their new single “Turn On the Sunshine” is an effortless slice of impossibly catchy fun, a summer slow-jam that belongs on every summer mixtape you make. The band hold onto their affinity for incorporating a healthy dose of weird sounds (that flute sample!) but mix all those orchestrally into an accessible, sugar-sweet indie pop jam. We’re looking forward to hearing what else the band have up their sleeve for us on their upcoming release Candy Salad, which will drop April 24.
