The leadwoman from , the bassist from , and the drummer from have made Babies. While not exactly being a “supergroup”, show promise for creating catchy garage-pop with dynamic vocals.

Kevin Morby does a great job leading the vocals for “Meet Me In The City”, and Cassie Ramone’s melodic, perfectly pitched backing vocals act as a fine instrument for support.

Being able to duplicate this kind of energy is the next challenge for the band if they decide to put out an LP, but for now “Meet Me In The City” is the perfect track to keep the summer going into September.
