Completely agree with Kelly Clarkson and Rihanna. I think Lily Allen needs to be in there somewhere, personally don’t like Smile but it had quite a big impact so would probably have to go with that.

Also, why is no-one mentioning Neyo – Closer! That was a definite tune of the year.

Obviously some Franz Ferdinand songs should be on that list (Do You Want To, This Fire, The Dark Of The Matinée, …). And, in spite of not exactly being a pop song, I think Seven Nation Army is one of THE most popular songs 2003-present-future.
