It’s always awesome to hear a band so painstakingly dedicated to the 60s psychedelic era. Michigan’s own The Peoples Temple, who just released their debut LP Sons Of Stone last week, are one of those garage bands that incorporate a shitload of scuz and trippy distorted melodies into their music, recalling the Woodstock generation.

The album’s title track is a clear representation: it’s copious in guitar solos, jamming sessions, bad ass bass riffs and a straight up psychedelic demeanour throughout. Frontman William Young’s airy, almost unrecognizable vocals are pretty much the icing on the 60s cake; check out “Sons Of Stone” below and see what we mean. Sons Of Stone is out now via Hozac Records, cop that asap.
